The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taalwetenschap.org\/\">General Association for Linguistics<\/a> represents linguists in the Netherlands internationally via <a href=\"https:\/\/ciplnet.com\/\">CIPL<\/a>, supports linguistic activities in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every area of \u200b\u200blinguistics and every approach (theoretical, experimental, descriptive, functional or formal) is welcome. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taalwetenschap.org\">AVT<\/a> represents linguists in the Netherlands internationally via <a href=\"https:\/\/ciplnet.com\/\">CIPL<\/a>, supports linguistic activities in the Netherlands, publishes <a href=\"https:\/\/benjamins.com\/catalog\/nb\">Nota Bene<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/benjamins.com\">John Benjamins<\/a>), and, together with <a href=\"https:\/\/anela.nl\/\">An\u00e9la<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lotschool.nl\/\">LOT<\/a>, organizes the annual <a href=\"#\">Grote Taaldag<\/a> (Annual Dutch Linguistics Day), during which papers are presented and the Language Gala is held. Two prizes are awarded at this event: the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taalwetenschap.org\/dissertatieprijs\/\">AVT\/An\u00e9la Dissertation Prize<\/a> for the best linguistic dissertation of the preceding year and the LOT Popularization Prize to encourage the development of popular science initiatives in the field of linguistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New members are very welcome. Members are allowed to speak at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taalwetenschap.org\/#\">Grote Taaldag<\/a> and receive a digital copy <a href=\"https:\/\/benjamins.com\/catalog\/nb\">Nota Bene<\/a> for free.
